As far as passenger transport goes, Split ferry port is by far the busiest of all Croatian ports. There are over 50 daily lines going in and out of Split, connecting almost every part of the coast, including islands.

Every year thousands of tourists from cruisers visit Split, which is slowly taking its place as the most popular destination in Croatia. International lines connect Split with several destinations, mainly in Italy – Bar, Ancona and Pescara, making this port the main destination for hundreds of thousands of Italian tourists every summer.
